The objectives of the project is to upgrade Madithongwane Access Bridge which connect Ga-Riba Village and Madiseng Village which falls under Fetakgomo Tubatse Municipality in Limpopo.
The works will involve the following:
- Clearing and grubbing of the bridge and road reserve
- Construct a temporary bypass, using temporary pipe culverts to accommodate the river flow.
- Construction of layer works
- Construction of 5No (3000×2500) Precast Portal Box Culverts
- Provide erosion protection by means of gabions,
- Construction of pavement layers to the approach to the bridge
- Installation of guardrails
- Installation of road signs
- Finishing of the road and road reserve
- Construction of concrete paving blocks;
