The objectives of the project is to upgrade an existing 3.0 km gravel access road leading from Tshikwarani to Zamekomste to a tarred surface thereby improving access to these facilities. The project is located at Tshikwarani/ Manavhela/ Zamekomste villages and falls within the Makhado Municipal Jurisdiction.
The works will involve the following:
- Upgrading of an existing 3 km gravel access road to tar
- Surfacing with a 30mm asphalt overlay;
- Construction of Culvert B which comprise 6No 2100×1800 Precast Concrete Portal Box Culverts class 75S.
- Construction of Culvert C which comprise 4No 1800×1500 Precast Concrete Portal Box Culverts class 150S.
The project is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by July of this year.
