The project entailed providing a water supply network at Mohodi Ga-Manthata village to RDP standard. The water infrastructure at the village was inadequate to serve the present population of the villages. This included:
- Inadequate storage or service reservoirs.
- Reticulation network not extending to most parts of the village.
- Lack of water draw off points.
The primary aim of this project was to provide the right of access to basic water supply through the provision of sustainable potable water in pursuance of the community water supply policies and guidelines. A detailed scope of work is discussed on section 2.4 of this report.
Mohodi Water Supply consists of the following villages: Madikana, New Stand, Mankwe Park, Sekakene and Fatima.
