The main objective of this project is to construct a Taxi Rank at Masisi Town which falls under Vhembe District Municipality to an acceptable level of service. This will enable the local communities to use the facility during all weather conditions.
The scope of work comprises of the following:
- Construction of taxi rank steel structure
- Construction of pavement layers.
- Paving of the taxi and bus rank area and installation of kerbing.
- Provision of storm water drainage.
- Installation of lights.
- Construction of ablution block.
- Construction of office.
- Construction of concrete palisade.
- Drilling of borehole and installation of tank.
- Construction of 0.4 km access road.
